Córdoba is not particularly known for golf courses, in fact there are only two golf courses in Córdoba. If however, you are prepared to drive towards the coast, and especially the Malaga region, there are plenty of courses to play on. You will meet the first of many different golf courses already after about an hours drive from Córdoba.
The two golf courses in Córdoba are Club de Campo Cordoba, an 18 hole par 72 course, and Club de Golf Pozoblanco, a 9 hole course.
The Club de Campo Cordoba is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the Córdoban mountain range, only a few kilometers north of the city Córdoba. Winding through trees, gullies and hills, it is a demanding and tough course. None of the holes are flat, and the natural presence of numerous trees obstructs many shots. Also the rough is complicated. All in all a wonderful landscape of 70 hectares full of pine trees and cork oaks. Visitors and members may also use further sports facilities at the club, including a swimming pool and tennis courts. The club house features a cozy club restaurant and bar.
