Costa del Sol is located in Southern Spain. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain, not only because of the very nice weather, with lots of sunshine and little rain, but also because of all the facilities available for tourists, and interesting tourist attractions not far from the coast, like for instance, Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, all of them destinations within reach for on days trip.
Malaga is the capital of the region, and Costa del Sol stretches about 100 kilometers (60 miles) to the east of Malaga and all the way down to Gibraltar to the west of Malaga.
